Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 10, 2026

What we collect

If you create an account, we store your email address and password hash for authentication. We also store any templates you explicitly save and cached brand data (website URL, extracted colors, fonts, and company name) for up to 7 days.

Markdown content

Your markdown is processed server-side solely for PDF generation. We do not store your markdown content or generated PDFs after the export completes. The live preview renders entirely in your browser.

Brand extraction

When you enter a website URL in the Brand tab, our server visits that website to extract visual brand elements (logo, colors, page structure). A screenshot of the page may be sent to Anthropic's API (Claude) for AI-powered analysis of colors, fonts, and company name. The extracted brand data is cached in our database for 7 days to avoid repeated processing.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. We only see aggregate page views and referrer data.

Cookies

We only set authentication session cookies if you create an account and sign in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookie-based analytics.

Data storage

All data is stored on a self-hosted Supabase instance running on an EU-based server (Hetzner, Germany). Your saved templates remain stored as long as your account exists.

Third parties

  • Anthropic — AI-powered brand analysis via the Claude API. Screenshot data is sent only when you use brand extraction.
  • Google Fonts — Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN when rendering documents. Google's privacy FAQ applies.

Data deletion

Delete your account to remove all stored data (templates, cached brands, profile). If you need assistance, reach out via our feedback page or email marksend@yapza.co.
